[Bug 160311] Re: Resizing windows by grabbing window borders is difficult

2011-07-17 Thread UeB
@Sam Spilsbury
unity-window-decorator is not running
my themes are in:
/usr/share/themes/
And do not remember installing any theme manually. I always used just the ones
that came with Ubuntu.

[Bug 160311] Re: Resizing windows by grabbing window borders is difficult

2011-07-16 Thread UeB
It says in this thread that a fix was commited. I upraded to Ubuntu
11.04 using the classic gnome desktop and still my window borders in the
ambiance and radiance themes are only 1 pixel wide, so resizing windows
with the mouse alone is still a pain in the ass. I thought it was fixed
now. Is there still a problem on my pc do I have a wrong understanding
of what "fixed" means in this case. Any enlightenment is very
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

[Bug 777817] Re: Panels and unity don't open automatically at startup

2011-05-23 Thread UeB
I have the same problem. After upgrading to ubutnu 10.04 after a reboot or
startup gnome (not unity) automatically starts but the pannels are just not
there.
My workaround at the moment:
start a terminal ( I added a desktop starter for that) and type gnome-panel in
there. Then the panels appear and I can do whatever I what with them.

I must say that I do not have an nVidia card but an ATI. I attached the
output of lshw

[Bug 419143] Re: Printing from evince (and perhaps other GTK apps) to PostScript printers is broken

2010-05-24 Thread UeB
For me the bug disappeared after upgrading to 10.04. So I can print with
evince again and do not have to use okular for printing.

[Bug 159042] Re: Nautilus is very slow in list mode with Assistive Technologies enabled (at-spi)

2009-04-05 Thread UeB
I can confirm this bug.

I think the importance should be higher then "low" because I think it is
a shame when I file browser sucks at browsing through directories and
showing files.
