I confirm this bug. According to Brasero Help, I have installed the following packages to allow brasero build DVD-video : ffmpeg vcdimager, dvdauthor. Step to reproduce : 1 Open Brasero and choose "Video prject" 2 Drag and drop a video (the one with Nelson Mandela if you don't have another) 3 click "Burn" 4 You will notice in th new window that the "burn" button remains greyed, so you can't create your DVD or VCD Lot of people have the same problem across Ubuntu forums. I confirm this bug. According to Brasero Help, I have installed the following packages to allow brasero build DVD-video : ffmpeg vcdimager, dvdauthor. Step to reproduce : 1 Open Brasero and choose "Video prject" 2 Drag and drop a video (the one with Nelson Mandela if you don't have another) 3 click "Burn" 4 You will notice in th new window that the "burn" button remains greyed, so you can't create your DVD or VCD Lot of people have the same problem across Ubuntu forums.
