[Bug 1028772] Re: Repeatedly hiding/showing the controls (Ctrl+H) shrinks the video display size
Confirmed, I'm also on Quetzal amd64. Last updated 18/8/12. [Bug 630930] Re: Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod
Reproduced on the same system on a smaller scale - Rhythmbox doubled in memory usage (from around 70MB to 140MB) when transferring ~150 songs to the same iPod. Surely it should be able to transfer one song, then remove it from RAM and do the next? -- Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 630930] Re: Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod
My mistake, it was a 160GB iPod Classic. RAM usage did not go down again once the transfer was completed, nor when the iPod was safely disconnected. It returned to normal once Rhythmbox was shut down, however. Screenshot attached as proof. ** Attachment added: "Screenshot-3.png" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/rhythmbox/+bug/630930/+attachment/1546551/+files/Screenshot-3.png -- Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 630930] [NEW] Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox On Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit, all updates applied. Used Rhythmbox to try and transfer ~12GB of songs (about 3000) at once to a fairly new iPod Classic 180GB. Ended up using 3GB of RAM (filling it up) and spilling over to 5GB of swap space. System is hard to use when no RAM is available, and it seemed to use more space as the transfer went on. Expected outcome: Rhythmbox should NEVER use 8GB of RAM! ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Huge memory usage when transferring many songs to iPod https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/630930 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 430811] Re: evince prints files scaled to portrait orientation, despite needing landscape
Can we expect a fix for this to be piped down via the standard repos, or is there a PPA supplying it? (for now I'm using other software, as landscape duplex printing is very important for me, but I'd love to switch back to evince) -- evince prints files scaled to portrait orientation, despite needing landscape https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/430811 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

Just in case this helps, here's just the section that documents the bug. I tested it by copying over 30 blank MP3s all starting with "This is actually a blank MP3 and not anything else, remember", and the bug came up a few times. [Bug 312902] Re: Rhythmbox asks to overwrite files during transfer to iPod
Of course, the log is extremely large (>10MB) however thanks in part to it listing every song in my ~5k collection many times over. [Bug 312902] [NEW] Rhythmbox asks to overwrite files during transfer to iPod
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: rhythmbox After deleting all music from my iPod Classic, I put more music back on with Rhythmbox. But I found that if the first 27 characters of several song filenames (excluding extension) are the same, Rhythmbox sometimes pauses the transfer and asks if you want to overwrite the first one with the second. No matter whether you say yes or no, one of the two songs is not transferred. Expected outcome: Rhythmbox renames the file, as this has no effect on iPods, and transfers it. ** Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Rhythmbox asks to overwrite files during transfer to iPod https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/312902 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
