[Bug 775019] [NEW] google contacts don't work after upgrade to 11.04
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution After upgrade to Ubuntu 11.04 I face a lot of problems with evolution. Before, with Ubuntu 10.10 it works perfectly. The first problem: I have over 1500 contacts in google/mail, but evolution shows only 700. Today it is worse. It shows "no contacts" at all. When I open contacts with web browser in "https://mail.google.com/mail/..."; I find all 1500 contacts still present. The second problem: When I want to close evolution, it become grey and stay in that condition infinitely so I have to kill it by system monitor. The third problem: I can not find mail files in my home folder. Before, I had folder .evolution with lot of folders and files. Now there is only two folders and few very small files. ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 11.04 Package: evolution 2.32.2-0ubuntu7 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.38-8.42-generic 2.6.38.2 Uname: Linux 2.6.38-8-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Sun May 1 19:15:47 2011 ExecutablePath: /usr/bin/evolution InstallationMedia: Ubuntu 10.10 "Maverick Meerkat" - Release i386 (20101007) ProcEnviron: SHELL=/bin/bash PATH=(custom, user) LANGUAGE=en_US:en LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SourcePackage: evolution UpgradeStatus: Upgraded to natty on 2011-04-29 (2 days ago) ** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: apport-bug apport-lpi i386 natty running-unity -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/775019 Title: google contacts don't work after upgrade to 11.04 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 765246] [NEW] bug 697595
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit BUG 697595 is still present. This can be easily produced. You should open in gedit 3 or more files from different directories. You should remember this directories. After that, you should click tabs with these files. You will see very soon that title of gedit windows is not updated correctly after you click on some tab. The title should contain file name, directory path and "- gedit" like this one "main.c (~/Documents/project sensor) - gedit". The title sometimes remains unchanged no matter you have just click other tab. These can produce serious mistakes if you have few files with same name but from different directories. You can not be sure what file you are editing and where it will be saved later. Previous description of these bug 697595 is as follows: Title in gedit window use to be incorect when many files are opened in same window. When I jump from one tab (file) to another tab (file), title in window doesn't change correctly. Very often title remains previous directory so the title is incorrect. ** Affects: gedit (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gedit in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/765246 Title: bug 697595 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 693852] [NEW] Decimal point on my numeric keyboard does not work. Is it because of regional settings?
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gcalctool Decimal point on my numeric keyboard does not work. Is it because of the regional setting? There is comma instead of dot on my numeric keyboard. In other programs like Open Office spreadsheet this comma key works without problem and produces dot in document. The superscript and subscript works with Alt or Ctrl + digit from main keyboard, but does not work, again, with digits from numeric keyboard. By the way I love this new calculator. It is the best. [Bug 27014] Re: evolution bug, "Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync"
I had the same problem - the bug 27014: "Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync". In the same time I had problem with the bug 183136: "Error while Storing folder Sent". It was very annoying. I have solved both problems in a very simple way. Just delete file "folders.db" from ~/.evolution/mail/local and start "evolution". In the first time the evolution needs more time to rebuild folders.db. After that, everything works fine. -- evolution bug, "Summary and folder mismatch, even after a sync" https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/27014 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a direct subscriber. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
