[Bug 401372] Re: When the keyboard shortcut for 'Log Out' is pressed (in karmic) the shutdown dialog is being displayed instead of the logout dialog
This bug was introduced when the all-in-one shutdown cum logout dialog was split into separate logout and shutdown dialogs. Please reintroduce the earlier dialog as it is very convenient to have access to all the shutdown and logout options using one keyboard shortcut. -- When the keyboard shortcut for 'Log Out' is pressed (in karmic) the shutdown dialog is being displayed instead of the logout dialog https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401372 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 617706] [NEW] Inconsistent password requirement policy
Public bug reported: In Ubuntu 10.04 password is optional during login, but when the computer wakes from hibernation password is asked for, irrespective of whether it is required during login or not. Since I don't have the suspend option, I don't know what happens during resuming from suspend but I guess the issue is there also. ** Affects: gnome-desktop (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Inconsistent password requirement policy https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/617706 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-desktop in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 99358] Re: Cache directory location unavailable
My problem is solved, but there is a problem with with serpentine's message promt. When the available disk space is very low(in my case it was only 100mb) serpentine's message prompt shows this cryptic message ! I transfered some of my files to a more spacious partition and the problem is gone. -- Cache directory location unavailable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for serpentine in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 99358] Re: Cache directory location unavailable
I am also experiencing exactly the same problem. I have installed feisty from a livedvd and have not updated after installation. So I don't know if the bug has been fixed in later updates. -- Cache directory location unavailable https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/99358 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for serpentine in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
