[Bug 568466] [NEW] Lonely close button in window title -> layout strange
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: metacity This is an appearance/polish bug. When there is only a 'Close' button in the window title bar then the right side of the background is not rounded. This looks a little bit silly. [Bug 81670] Re: failed to initialize HAL : gdm init script priority should be at least equal to dbus one
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 25931 *** Hello, I was struggeling with this too. When I set login to automatic, I got this 'Internal error. Failed to initialize HAL' error. For now I solved by: sudo mv /etc/rc2.d/S13gdm /etc/rc2.d/S21gdm to start gdm after dbus. I have not encountered nasty consequences (yet) and automatic login works now. Anyway I hope this is helpful. -- failed to initialize HAL : gdm init script priority should be at least equal to dbus one https://launchpad.net/bugs/81670 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
