[Bug 1010000] [NEW] gedit hangs when opening files padded with null characters
Public bug reported: Opening the attached file using gedit 3.4.1 causes gedit to hang. The file opens correclty using medit and LibreOffice Calc. [Bug 689837] Re: [natty] workspace switcher doesn't update preview
With "classic" desktop and four columns and one row of workspaces, I find that a window close to the left-hand edge of workspace 1 disappears from the workspace switcher view when I click on workspace 4 in the switcher. (It is still displayed after clicking on workspaces 2 and 3.) It can be restored by clicking on workspace 1 again. My speculation is that this is related to Unity because only windows near the left-hand edge of the screen are affected.
