[Bug 90342] HTML appear as plaintext unless first line is

2007-03-07 Thread daviey
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

If email begins with anything other than then the email seems to
appear in plain text.

Below, although the first line is plaintext, the rest is properly formatted.
This email shows up as plaintext:
"

"

This example should definitely show up as HTML, but doesn't.

[Bug 86561] When launching whilst working offline, All rss feeds report error.

2007-02-20 Thread daviey
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: rhythmbox

Version: 0.9.7.90

When launching whilst not connected to the internet; RSS feeds all
report error connecting to their URL. If the user has more than a
couple of feeds, this can become quite intrusive.

Many other applications, ie Evolution or Firefox - detect lack of
internet connection and put themselves into 'Working Offline' mode.

[Bug 76632] Re: screen does not unlock after locking

Hi MySZ,

I know you said your system is upto date, but just to check what package
is actually installed.

"dpkg -l | grep gnome-screensaver"

[Bug 85932] Re: Terminal font appears to be slightly fuzzy/blurry

2007-02-18 Thread daviey
Hi John,

Looking at your attached screenshot, it would appear to be as sharp as
expected. I suspect the image appears differently on each of our
displays.

Therefore, this seems to be a configuration issue. I would recommend
trying different resolutions and refresh rates. If possible, try and
find your 'native resolution' fo your monitor and try that.

As this doesn't appear to be a bug in itself i will 'reject' it.
However, if you need support on trying different resolutions i would
recommend either joining Ubuntu support chat
(https://help.ubuntu.com/community/InternetRelayChat), the forums or the
'support' section on the left hand side.

If the support channels are unsuccessfull, then i request that you re-
open this as a 'bug'.

Thanks again.

2007-02-17 Thread daviey
Hi,

Thank you for your bug report.

Can you confirm what graphics card you are using and at what resolution.
Also, if you could upload a screenshot (printscreen), that would help us
to determine the problem.

Thanks again

[Bug 85005] Re: [feisty] rhythmbox toss out all my podcasts subscriptions

2007-02-13 Thread daviey
I can't say i've had the same problem, but without steps to reproduce i
think this is going to be near impossible to pin-point.

The rythmbox database is locate
/home/$USER/.gnome2/rhythmbox/rhythmdb.xml . It is possible that the
xml file has become malformed; you may be able to recover your feeds by
looking through it. However unless this issue gets some "me to" i don't
think we can consider it a bug at this stage.

[Bug 26952] Re: An issue with the new Podcast function

2007-02-05 Thread daviey
Following an network disconnection all podcasts seem broken (and re-
connection :) ; even when they are re-added.

Not certain it is the network problem; as it could be that i have
recently upgraded to feisty whilst maintaining my /home folder.
