[Bug 892507] Re: File operation window does not show in window lists

2011-11-30 Thread dk_zero-cool
I use Gnome-Shell, and before then Unity.

But it seams that the latest nautilus update has fixed the problem.
Nautilus file process now shows in all window lists, incl. Alt+Tab in
both Gnome-shell and Unity.

[Bug 892507] [NEW] File operation window does not show in window lists

2011-11-19 Thread dk_zero-cool
Public bug reported:

The file operation window in nautilus does not show up in any window

[Bug 515564] Re: USB drives creates double HDD Partition Icons

2010-03-30 Thread dk_zero-cool
Well, the problem went away for a while, but it seams that it has
returned. Why, I don't know.

Here is a screen of the problem.

[Bug 515564] Re: USB drives creates double HDD Partition Icons

2010-02-21 Thread dk_zero-cool
That sounds like the same bug. But the behaviour is a sleight different
with USB than NFS. When inserting USB Drives, it's not the USB's that
duplicates, but all of the HDD drives, accept the Filesystem (Root
Partition).

And I don't think it is nautilus that carries the bug.
The problem appears everywhere when browsing the filesystem (Nautilus, Deluge,
firefox, TrueCrypt etc.).

[Bug 515564] Re: USB drives creates double HDD Partition Icons

2010-02-21 Thread dk_zero-cool
It seams like the latest updates finally fixed the problem.
I attached the update log in case someone needs to know which packaged did the
trick.
There are not many packages in the list, and very few could be the source of
this problem.

[Bug 515564] [NEW] USB drives creates double HDD Partition Icons

2010-02-01 Thread dk_zero-cool
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Normally when I open Nautilus on one of my Machines with Ubuntu 9.10, I
see my mounted devices, something like this:

  - xx GB Hard Disk: Label 1
  - xx GB Hard Disk: Label 2

But every single time I put a USB Drive in one of them, the list looks
like this:

  - xx GB Hard Disk: Label 1
  - xx GB Hard Disk: Label 2
  - Label 1
  - Label 2

When this happens, only the last two works.
The first two gives an error: Unable to mount the location.

It's really strange that it clones the devices every time.
It's even more strange that the USB drives does NOT get cloned.

Also, I have often tried where an USB drive was found and mounted by
Nautilus, but where fdisk, gparted etc could not find them. And when I
unmounted them in nautilus, they completely disappeared and could not be
found by any GUI or CLI tool including nautilus.
