[Bug 483531] Re: guides don't work and selection trouble
I did just download and burn Ubuntu Lucid Alpha 3 and tested GIMP 2.6.8. The only thing I can say is that the problem has magically disappeared! I can now use the guides with both my mouse and Wacom Bamboo tablet without GIMP acting weird. In Karmic the problem is still there. I can't wait until april 29th. -- guides don't work and selection trouble https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/483531 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gimp in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 483531] [NEW] guides don't work and selection trouble
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gimp I am using Ubuntu 9.10 and made a clean install 2 weeks ago. Since that time my guides do not work anymore in GIMP. I checked if my guides have been turned on in the view menu. They are. Also after I tried to deploy a guide the "ants" around a selected area are not visible anymore, while in fact the area is still selected and I am still able to edit it. This can only be fixed by restarting GIMP and not touching the guides anymore. I am using Ubuntu and GIMP since 6.06 and never had this problem. Does anyone know if this has anything to do simply with my settings or a Nvidia, Gnome, Compiz or GIMP related bug? Thanks in advance. [Bug 213053] Re: Totem is 'uninterruptible'
@jaduncan For me it is not an issue at this right moment, as I am on Debian 5.0. I have been on Intrepid for a while after it became stable in October and also didn't encounter this issue anymore. -- Totem is 'uninterruptible' https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/213053 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 235485] Re: evolution crashes constantly
The problem also happens to me. Since this morning, whenever I start Evolution it crashes after about 5 seconds. I just migrated from Thunderbird to Evolution, finding it better to use, but right now Evolution is not usable at all. I also tried to reinstall Evolution and all its dependencies, but it wouldn't work. I am using Evolution 2.24 at Intrepid Beta on a amd 64 system. I have attached the evolution crash report (from /var/crash) with this message. I hope this will help! ** Attachment added: "_usr_bin_evolution.1000.crash" http://launchpadlibrarian.net/18449463/_usr_bin_evolution.1000.crash -- evolution crashes constantly https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/235485 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 213053] Re: Totem is 'uninterruptible'
Totem was also uninterruptible on my system after I was watching a flash movie which I downloaded from Youtube. I couldn't kill totem in the system monitor, so I tried to kill it with "sudo kill ", that also didn't work. When restarting my system ubuntu logged out, but didn't want to go back to the boot screen, so I had to force reboot my computer. I am on a fully upgraded Ubuntu Intrepid Beta amd 64 system. I am using Intrepid since it's alpha 5 stage and didn't have this problem before.
