[Bug 907311] Re: Not exiting properly? An instance of Brasero is already running, exiting
I've been dealing with this bug since 12.04. I just freshly installed 13.04 64-bit on my main machine and if I double-click on an ISO and Brasero opens to burn it, even if I just cancel out of that window, brasero remains running and does not exit on it's own. This prevents being able to open brasero again until one kills the running instance. This is a show-stopper. Seriously needs to be fixed, or change the default app for burning ISOs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to brasero in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/907311 Title: Not exiting properly? [Bug 1062166] Re: screen goes dark although screensaver is switched off
I'm not certain which one thing fixed it, but here's what I did: Open dconf editor from the Dash Click on the Find, and type Power. Here's what I've got set: idle-brightness = 0 idle-dim-time = 0 sleep-display-ac = 0 sleep-display-battery = 0 sleep-inactive-ac-timeout = 0 sleep-inactive-battery-timeout = 0 Try setting those and see if it helps you.
