[Bug 1947488] [NEW] minimize and maximize missing on window bar

2021-10-17 Thread Gerben
Public bug reported:

When logging in via RDP (xdrp) the buttons minimize and maximize are
missing at the top of each window (left of the destroy cross which is
available at the top-right).

The window color scheme also is light-grey, not the default Ubuntu 20.04
dark-grey.

The destroy button does not show in a red circle when the window has
focus.

[Bug 808776] Re: gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in gtk_container_forall()

2012-03-24 Thread Gerben Wijnja
This is what I did (with gnome 12.04 in the latest virtualbox, and i had
not used 12.04 for about a week):

* boot into gnome unity
* decided to install gnome-panel, using the software center
* log out and log in again with gnome-panel (gnome classic), which worked fine
* installed all available updates
* rebooted and logged in with unity again (so not gnome classic) and then
gnome-panel crashed. So even though I did not choose to use gnome classic, the
panel still loaded and I am not sure if that is supposed to happen.

I noticed this too. It seems that the weather information for The Hague
has not been updated since April 1st.

[Bug 235449] [NEW] changing column width in Nautilus when view as list not working properly

2008-05-28 Thread gerben
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron, Gnome 2.22.1, Nautilus 2.22.2

When I set Nautilus to view the folder contents as a list, changing the
column widths is very difficult.

My columns are:

Name | Size | Type | Date Modified

and this is how resizing the widths of the columns works for me at the moment:
- trying to move the | between Name and Size, does not work, won't move
- trying to move the | between Size and Type, adjusts the position of the |
between Name and Size
- trying to move the | between Type and Date modified, adjusts the position
of the | between Name and Size and the | between Size and Type

Here is a screenshot showing what happens:
