[Bug 307952] [NEW] file-roller does not comply with system's open with pref
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: file-roller In Nautilus right click a file properties and select an app to use to open that file type. Now open an archive in file-roller and double click a file of the same file type. You notice file-roller doesn't respect your choice of application but instead opens the file in some arbitrarily chosen application. lsb_release -rd Description: Ubuntu 8.04.1 Release: 8.04 apt-cache policy file-roller file-roller: Installed: 2.22.3-0ubuntu1 Candidate: 2.22.3-0ubuntu1 Version table: *** 2.22.3-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com hardy-updates/main Packages 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status 2.22.2-0ubuntu1 0 500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com hardy/main Packages ** Affects: file-roller (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- file-roller does not comply with system's open with pref https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/307952 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to file-roller in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 240733] Re: Appearance doesn't apply customized selected items color
Using hardy, no compiz. Looks like the human theme doesn't apply this to the window titles, unlike some other themes do... so my bad, I guess there's no bug. Sorry for the goose chase. -- Appearance doesn't apply customized selected items color https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/240733 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 240733] Re: Appearance doesn't apply customized selected items color
In the appearance window itself. If you change e.g. windows' background, it's instantly applied to all windows once you click OK in the color picker. This does not happen with selected items background. The top most bar in the windows remembers the previously selected color instead of the newly selected one. I'm sorry, it's not clear to me how to duplicate it. :-/ -- Show Desktop Button 2.22.1.3 is driving me bonkers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236376 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 236376] Re: Show Desktop Button 2.22.1.3 is driving me bonkers
Aha! Looks like you need to have compiz enabled to make this happen. Open 2 windows. Hit the button and they'll get minimized. Then click one of them on the panel and that window will maximize (or restore) back. And now, when you hit the button, the minimized window comes crashing down on you. Can you dupe that? -- Show Desktop Button 2.22.1.3 is driving me bonkers https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/236376 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
