[Bug 99498] Re: Nautilus and hal can't umount usb hd disk

2007-06-15 Thread hardyn
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 63090 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/63090

Same problem with my USB camera, and one of my USB hard disks.

My SATA external USB drive will eject properly.
My IDE external USB drive exhibits the above symptoms.

suggesting it has something to do with the response given by the
IDE-USB interface; although it seems to be with ALOT of devices.

and as stated above, a CLI umount is not really acceptable.

[Bug 99858] Re: [nvidia-glx-new] Terminal will not successfully launch when SVideo is connected to TV

2007-05-18 Thread hardyn
Using regular terminal.

root 4990 2.3 6.4 74524 66392 tty7 SLs+ 09:04 10:34
/usr/X11R6/bin/X :0 -br -audit 0 -auth /var/lib/gdm/:0.Xauth -nolisten

cntrl-alt-fx does not work with the binary nvidia driver, i believe this
has also been filed as a bug.
