[Bug 1265272] Re: Publish button does nothing

2014-05-12 Thread heartsmagic
I am using Ubuntu 14.04, Shotwell 0.18.0-0ubuntu4 and this problem still
occures. I tried to backtrace the problem but I am not sure if this
helps since Shotwell actually does not crash or freeze. Only publishing
window vanishes. Also if we start Shotwell via terminal and try add
another account this can be seen in the output:

GLib-CRITICAL **: g_spawn_command_line_async: assertion 'command_line !=

[Bug 799255] Re: Evince crashed after attempting to put an open shortcut in the toolbar.

2011-09-05 Thread heartsmagic
Distro : ArchLinux 2011.08
Evince version : 3.0.2
Result : No problem at all.

Distro : OpenSuse 11.4
Evince version : 2.32.0
Result :No problem at all.

Distro : Ubuntu 11.04
Evince version : 2.32.0
Result : Bug occurs *only* adding Open icon.

Distro : Ubuntu 11.10
Evince version : 3.1.2
Result : Bug occurs *only* adding Open icon.

Last one is my case. I am pretty sure that yesterday this was the case
for all icons. Because, I did not try to add open even once, I was
trying to add back. But, right now i can reproduce this bug as
described before, only adding open. The other ones working as
expected.

Public bug reported:

To reporduce this bug.

1. Create a file or directory and add an emblem to it.
2. Use delete to delete it.
3. Open Trash.

You can't see file or directory there, but actually this is not the
case. You can see files via terminal in the ~/.local/share/Trash/files
directory.

2010-07-15 Thread heartsmagic
I can reproduce this bug on current Maverick. The error is the same:
Segmentation fault. And in the crash file which is in /var/crash i
can't see any useful info about the error. I am adding the file as
attachment. Also, I tried to get a backtrce via gdb, but i can't
reproduce the error there. Yelp is just trying to load itself but can't.
Without using gdm it is tryig to load itself and crashes.

Also, i am from Ubuntu-tr Loco Team and one of our users report that
issue there. Now, I can see the owner of this report uses Ubuntu with
Turkish locale: LANG=tr_TR.utf8. So is this could be related with
locale?

I tried to open yelp as:
LC_ALL=C yelp
but no luck. It crashes again.

[Bug 454349] Re: Emblems are not shown for symlinked directories on desktop

2009-11-22 Thread heartsmagic
Some updates.

This problem occures if those directories are NOT on the same partition
which Ubuntu is installed. The ones which inside the root (/) are
working fine.

An other issue is that the porblem is not limited with emblems. If you
try to set custom icons to those symlinked directories, same thing
happens.

2009-10-26 Thread heartsmagic
Yes this is reproducible.

Necessary steps are,
Give the command:
gksudo -u gdm dbus-launch gnome-appearance-properties
and configure GDM.

This checks the Accessibility features can be toggled with keyboard
shortcuts option every time in System - Preferences - Keyboard -
Accessibility.

If you can't see the accesibilty applets in the panel, just log out and
re-login.

I am using Ubuntu 9.10. It is updated and here is my gnome-control-center

I don't konow if there is any other way to configure GDM on Karmic. I
used that method:

Now, if you do that you can configure GDM but this brings some

[Bug 371042] [NEW] Nautilus crashes after mounting a non-empty CD to CD-RW

2009-05-02 Thread heartsmagic
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

First of all this bug showed up after Jaunty Alpha 2.
If you have multiple CD devices such as one CD-Rom or DVD-Rom and a CD-RW,
inserting a non-empty media to CD-RW makes nautilus crash. Desktop icons are
vanishing, too. This bug occures if there are multiple CD devices. If there is
just one CD-RW everything is OK. Also, if you use a non-empty media, again
there is no problem.

[Bug 60875] Re: Duplicate drive icons

2006-09-17 Thread heartsmagic
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 57701 ***

Until the bug fixed, i am telling what i've done. I just clean all the
partition lines (except / one) from my fstab and created new directories
(which are named by me) under /media and set those in the fstab.
