[Bug 189002] [NEW] Evince does not open pdf files if they do not have a 'pdf' extension
Public bug reported: Evince stopped opening pdf files if they have a different extension. If I rename the file to .pdf, it opens it correctly. (I receive all my university attachments as .php pdf files) It used to work, but it suddenly stopped. When I open the file, it complains Unable to open document Unhandled MIME type: “application/x-php” I use hardy alpha 4. [Bug 189002] Oh yeah, It seems to have happend on Xubuntu Feisty
But it was a different package (evince-gtk) so it's not a dupe. Apparently, the ".php" extension that my files have does the trouble.
