[Bug 1485496] [NEW] Icon offscreen in multi-screen desktop
Public bug reported: I am using a laptop with an external screen. The external screen (1920x1080) is bigger than the laptop one (1366x768). They are arranged to be: the laptop on left, and the external display on right. On my normal desktop, the two column is full of icons. I want to add a document on my desktop. * When there are no external display connected: When I add a document on my desktop, the icon is shown on a third column. That's great. * When the external display is connected: When I add a document on my desktop, the icon is shown at the bottom of the first column, and thus invisible and unreachable. That's not great, that's a bug. - possible diagnostic: It looks like nautilus think that the two screen have the same height, that the laptop screen is now bigger than it is. And that is the bug... ** Affects: gnome-session (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-session in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1485496 Title: Icon offscreen in multi-screen desktop To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-session/+bug/1485496/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 454751] Re: Bad colour in any video after running totem
I had to reset to default the color option in the Edit Preferences Display. The hue value was set to the left side of the screen. How did it happens is for me a sort of mystery. I can just mention that I untick recently the option Show visual effect when an audio file is played in the same screen. Does it make hue change? -- Bad colour in any video after running totem https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/454751 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gstreamer0.10 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

You specify a user name (and other options: server name, port, ) in the box, it then ask for password (ok) and then a error message pop up and access is not granted: Could not display davs://x...@yyy/zz. Error: HTTP Error: Authorization Required Please select another viewer and try again. If you don't specify a user name in the first box, it then ask for it aside with the password, and then the access is granted without any problem. release: 9.04 nautilus: 1:2.26.2-0ubuntu1 configuration: - system wide proxy set with System - Preference - Network proxy - proxy requires no authentification - server is https only, auth is done through digest Suggestions: - the error message pop up so quickly, it is possible that the request don't even go out of nautilus - params are ok, pwd and user name are correct - server respond correctly - proxy is used correctly by both ways (not doing so would result in a +/- 30 seconds delay between request and time-out) - I thing the user name field is not re-used by request ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- proxy and secure webdav nautilus https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/372095 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
