Yup, I'm running 2.26.1 and it happens every day. Is there a log file or 
something you'd like to see?
My workaround is to simply minimize the window, and shut down at the end of the 
day... but Evolution never closes on it's own.

I'm running Jaunty, and I have one IMAP account setup. Everything was fine for 
months, then all of the sudden Evolution wouldn't close and would hang on exit. 
I deleted my account, and re-sync'd with the server and all was well for quite 
a while... then bam, started happening again. 
My only temporary "work around" is to blow away the account, delete all my 
local files, and re-create the account. This fixes it for a while, and then I 
have to wash, rinse, and repeat... This is somewhat acceptable for a personal 
user, but not for a corporate deployment.
