Yes, evolution-data-server is running and continues running without any
crash during that operation.

Here is the output from "ps", maybe it could be useful:
/usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.26

[Bug 393426] [NEW] bad columns' width in processes tab

2009-06-29 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-system-monitor

How it is:
The width of the CPU and Nice columns are too wide and can't be minimized to
the size of the column title. However, the ID column can be squeezed so the
half of the first digit is hidden.

How is should be:
The width of the CPU and Nice columns should be as wide as necessary so that is
could save the space for the wider ones. I know that some space is reserved
for the arrow which indicates the sorting order, but I don't know if it is
necessary. The ID column should have minimal width set more properly, so that
everything will be visible also in minimalistic setting.

The program 'vinagre' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.

that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line

I' ve solved it. I have moved .gconf folder to gconf-old and now works
fine. It isn't the best solution beacuse I have loosed gnome

[Bug 256894] [NEW] high memory consumption

2008-08-11 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open attached file (Prospekt1381.pdf) using evince.
2. Scroll down to the end of the file and back or change pages with arrows.

The memory usage will grow up with browsing the file. I tried all
display types of zoom.

2008-01-12 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I opened a small (240kB) pdf document in evince, read few pages and left
opened. After few minutes I looked to system monitor and saw, that
evince is consuming 166MB of memory.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. Evince is from
GNOME 2.20.1.

2008-06-02 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

E: socket-client.c: socket(): Address family not supported by protocol

(continuing from previous state)
After clicking on play button in toolbar, error message with text "Couldn't
stop playback" shows. The song does't start to play.
Terminal output:

NULL' failed
E: socket-client.c: socket(): Address family not supported by protocol
E: socket-client.c: socket(): Address family not supported by protocol

A red icon with a white stripe appears on the song's line. In properities of
the song, there is:

The program 'vinagre' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)'.

  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.

2009-06-11 Thread kiko
Yes, evolution-data-server is running and continues running without any
crash during that operation.

Here is the output from "ps", maybe it could be useful:
/usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.26
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_BookFactory:1.2
--oaf-ior-fd=32

I' ve solved it. I have moved .gconf folder to gconf-old and now works
fine. It isn't the best solution beacuse I have loosed gnome

Yes, evolution-data-server is running and continues running without any
crash during that operation.

Here is the output from "ps", maybe it could be useful:

Binary package hint: evince

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open attached file (Prospekt1381.pdf) using evince.
2. Scroll down to the end of the file and back or change pages with arrows.

The memory usage will grow up with browsing the file. I tried all

GNOME 2.20.1.

  (Details: serial 353 error_code 1 request_code 143 minor_code 19)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

[Bug 287542] Re: vinagre crash with "BadRequest (invalid request code or no such operation)" when I try to connect to VNC server

2008-10-28 Thread kiko
I' ve solved it. I have moved .gconf folder to gconf-old and now works
fine. It isn't the best solution beacuse I have loosed gnome
configuration. Regards,

[Bug 256894] [NEW] high memory consumption

2008-08-11 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open attached file (Prospekt1381.pdf) using evince.
2. Scroll down to the end of the file and back or change pages with arrows.

The memory usage will grow up with browsing the file. I tried all
display types of zoom.

result of pmap after few scroll-downs/ups

I have the same problem with gnome-terminal after upgrading from Ubuntu
8.10 to Ubuntu 9.04 (alpha 6).

I can see also the same error when using aptitude as Luis Diaz.

[Bug 182414] evince consuming a lot of memory

2008-01-12 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I opened a small (240kB) pdf document in evince, read few pages and left
opened. After few minutes I looked to system monitor and saw, that
evince is consuming 166MB of memory.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. Evince is from
GNOME 2.20.1.

(continuing from previous state)
After clicking on play button in toolbar, error message with text "Couldn't
stop playback" shows. The song does't start to play.
Terminal output:

E: socket-client.c: socket(): Address family not supported by protocol

[Bug 256894] [NEW] high memory consumption

2008-08-11 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open attached file (Prospekt1381.pdf) using evince.
2. Scroll down to the end of the file and back or change pages with arrows.

The memory usage will grow up with browsing the file. I tried all
display types of zoom.

2008-01-12 Thread kiko
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evince

I opened a small (240kB) pdf document in evince, read few pages and left
opened. After few minutes I looked to system monitor and saw, that
evince is consuming 166MB of memory.

I'm running Ubuntu 7.10 with kernel 2.6.22-14-generic. Evince is from
GNOME 2.20.1.

Yes, evolution-data-server is running and continues running without any
crash during that operation.

Here is the output from "ps", maybe it could be useful:
/usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.26
--oaf-activate-iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_BookFactory:1.2

  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line

I' ve solved it. I have moved .gconf folder to gconf-old and now works
fine. It isn't the best solution beacuse I have loosed gnome
