[Bug 846367] Re: When opening a directory with totem, video files are added to the playlist but some of them won't play

2011-09-14 Thread kurt belgrave
Looking at http://projects.gnome.org/totem/
They say before filing bugs to make sure that is the latest version of totem
and gstreamer that you are running.
I am therefore leaving the status as incomplete and would ask you to please
test this against the development version of ubuntu (oneiric) and report back
if you are having the issue here.

Fred

Can you please take a screenshot for me, also can you run for me
apport-collect 846378
in a terminal
This would attach all the needed log files.
If you can do these two for me while i work on reproducing the issue.
Cheers

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make
Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does
not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to
a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you
are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are
having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if
you are uncertain if they are bugs. For help on reporting bugs, see
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/ReportingBugs#When%20not%20to%20file%20a%20bug.

Please try to obtain a backtrace manually following the instructions at

permissions for Launchpad you will need to give it at least the ability

[Bug 371195] Re: Blacklight stays lit

2010-06-21 Thread kurt belgrave
Thank you for taking the time to make ubuntu better.
In Preferences > Power Manager you can select the display time, for instance on
my jaunty system I set mine to the lowest - 11mins and after that time it shuts
off power to the monitor completely.
The solution to this issue I believe is to wishlist that the default setting be
less than 40mins which it currently is, so will not show a black screen for a
long period of time.
Cheers
