[Bug 158090] Spell checking regression
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gedit Hi, After updating from Feisty to Gutsy, it seems that gedit "forgot" my personalized spellcheck. That is, I added word to my personal dictionary but now gedit doesn't recognize them anymore and when I add them back to the dictionary and later open another file with these same words, it still don't want to recognize them. Regards. [Bug 31159] gedit 2.13.90 menu entry doesn't appear on fresh account
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/31159 Comment: Running update-menu with my new user solved the problem. Deleting all local gedit and killing the panel solved the problem as well. But that should not occur in the first place. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 31159] gedit 2.13.90 menu entry doesn't appear on fresh account
Public bug report changed: https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/31159 Comment: Yes not upstream, it has been filled automatically as this and I wasn't sure how to close it. My weird user : $ gnome-menu-spec-test | grep gedit $ $ ls ~/.local/share/applications/gedit.destkop ls: /home/drupal/.local/share/applications/gedit.destkop: Aucun fichier ou répertoire de ce type I just saw that in my current user as well it disappeared but as I use a launcher I didn't see it before. Normal user : $ gnome-menu-spec-test | grep gedit Accessoires/gedit.desktop /usr/share/applications/gedit.desktop $ ls .local/share/applications/gedit.desktop .local/share/applications/gedit.desktop $ ls -l .local/share/applications/gedit* -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 138 2005-01-25 14:14 .local/share/applications/gedit1.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 121 2005-08-08 23:40 .local/share/applications/gedit2.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 126 2005-08-08 23:45 .local/share/applications/gedit3.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 125 2005-01-08 15:29 .local/share/applications/gedit.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 119 2005-11-16 23:05 .local/share/applications/gedit-usercreated-1.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 125 2005-09-18 16:25 .local/share/applications/gedit-usercreated.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 5869 2005-04-12 22:18 .local/share/applications/gedit-usercustom-1.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 5851 2005-05-21 17:53 .local/share/applications/gedit-usercustom-2.desktop -rw-r--r-- 1 ldng ldng 5759 2005-03-02 12:48 .local/share/applications/gedit-usercustom.desktop Needless to say I didn't created them manually, that's for sure. 8-| -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
