thanks for the report, could you attach your ~/.xsession-errors and
Xorg.0.log files? is this reproducible everytime? are you using desktop
effects? does it happens without them? which video driver and card do
you have?

[Bug 303202] [NEW] Nautilus Freeses Entire System

2008-11-28 Thread linux-junkie
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

I will be working away in my system, when I go to open file manager
(nautilus) and the whole system freeses solid. I get no response, the
only thing that works is the mouse cursor. The mouse buttons or clicks
have no response. I know the system is frozen, because the time stops
working and the internet activity stops. The only way to exit is by
pressing Crtl+Alt+F1. Can not even kill the processes, have to press
Crtl+Alt+Dlt to reboot. Can not even gather information to send you,
when it freezes, it sucks.

This is the 3rd or 4th time I have submitted a bug report and the
program is still crashing without warning. I do not get a message pop up
it just does not work. I work at home and I go to use the phone and it
will not dail, I don't even get a dail tone sound. When i open the
General History this is what I get. At first I thought it was related to
the alsa driver, because it use to crash if I opened a music/audio
program. But now I am opening nothing and I am getting the same errors.

2008-04-21 Thread linux-junkie
This is being a really serious problem, at first I thought it had to do
with, LineAk not running, Then I submit a bug that the alsa driver
conflicts when using other audio programs. But I do nothing and it still
screws up. Worst, I use my phone for work and my boss is getting pissed
off that my phone does not work, so can we get this resolved.

[Bug 207949] [NEW] Some icons not showing in systemtray

Public bug reported:

which is gnome desktop. I do ask one small question does this happen in

seems to crash more often that my other Linux 32bit version. I am

Re: [Bug 146792] Re: Evolution 2.12.0 system configuration update error

2007-10-03 Thread linux-junkie
I use the item$PREFIX/lib/bonobo/servers/item in
the bonobo activation, but realized later that, that
was not the way it way suppose to work, so end up
writing the XML line a different way.But that was not
the problem. But what it did find out is where it loads
the files from source, is loads it in a different
directory than where the main directory is, thus
causing evolution to crash or stop working. And at the
end I ended out deleting the directories, so that it
will load again.

Public bug reported:

I just finished installing the new version of Evolution 2.12.0 in
Xubuntu 7.04 -AMD64. I beginning to think the packages being released
are only for 32bit versions of operating system, which should be mention
on the website. Anyways I have installed the new version, everything
installed fine. At the end I tried to open the program and an error
popped up, stating the system configuration does not match evolution
configuration. That I had to add a line to the bonobo-activation-
config.xml and it will solve the problem.well guess what it does
not, I still get the same message. Here is the new added line (!--
