[Bug 553200] Re: Mouse and keyboard stop working after selecting user
Having the same problem with Lucid Beta 1 using nvidia v96 driver. The only way I can start x and boot to gnome desktop is to bypass gdm altogether. Clearly it has sometjhing to do with the way gdm interacts with said nvidia graphics. I have been testing Lucid since Alpha 3 and this only started happening after updates on April 1st. Incidentally, I have another box using the same graphics card but no proprietory drivers installed. Using the default Nouveau driver, I have no problems with gdm login. -- Mouse and keyboard stop working after selecting user https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/553200 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 535326] Re: gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke()
I can confirm this behaviour when programs are started from the main menu applet. It does not happen when using the alternative menu bar applet. Started happening after installing the latest round of updates which included gnome-panel updates. -- gnome-panel crashed with SIGSEGV in g_closure_invoke() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/535326 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 342726] Re: Jaunty: BBC plugin cannot connect to server
Can confirm this bug on Jaunty 9.04; Totem 2.26.0also that it exists in Intrepid. Clearly the BBC server has changed and not implemented in the totem BBC plugin. Hope Mr Wright can follow-up. -- Jaunty: BBC plugin cannot connect to server https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/342726 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 129029] Re: [Gutsy Tribe-5] No Sound on Login Screen or during Login
Identical problem here...using Gutsy final 7.10..log-in sound (drum- roll) works perfectly but no logout sound despite selecting in sound prefs and the sound playing there when play button pressed...this is an annoying bug and leaves an unpolished feel which will be noticed by new users -- [Gutsy Tribe-5] No Sound on Login Screen or during Login https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/129029 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-session in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
