2010-02-26 Thread malev
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: yelp

I'm havign a problem with the keyring, it doesn't save the passwords.
So, as I don't have the password of my twitter account saved for the
microblogging plugin in Gnome-do, every time I try to send a tweet from
Gnome-do. It crash.
Down you can see: the error showing that it can't save the twitter pass (I got
issues with keyring), and after that I tried to send the tweet. It calls the
microblogging plugin and ... it crash :(

Of couse I've tried deletting /.gnome2/keyrings/login.keyring and the folder:
/.gnome2/keyrings, but there is no case. It keeps comming!

yes I did! I tried my login pass, and many others words too. I also tried to

[Bug 538610] Re: keyring doesn't store the passwords

2010-03-15 Thread malev
I'm not sure if I understand you.
The first time it ask me about the pass I entered one, but it keeps asking me
about it.
Then I delete the login.keyring file (I remember there was a default.keyring
file too). In fact I deleted all the directory. So it asked me for configuring
a new password for the keyring. So I configured a new one, but the window keeps
appearing. I dig a little more and I've found the /var/log/auth.log file.
I hope this was what you mean...

[Bug 538610] Re: keyring doesn't store the passwords

2010-03-16 Thread malev
the password doesn't work at all. That is way it is showing errors in the
/var/log/auth.log file.
It looks as it couldn't write at the login.keyring file.
For example. Right know I've deleted the /home/malev/.gnome2/keyring directory
And I opened the ubuntuone-client-applet (wich ask for the keyring). So it ask
me to set a new keyring password. I set one. But I still having the same error
in auth.log:

Mar 16 09:30:53 malev-laptop gnome-keyring-ask: could not grab keyboard: 3
Mar 16 09:30:53 malev-laptop gnome-keyring-ask: could not grab keyboard: 3

response from ask tool: El archivo clave contiene la línea «Application is
gnome-keyring-ask» que no es un par valor-clave, grupo o comentario

So, the password isn't being saved at the file. I think this is the
problem

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu

because it doesn't correspond to nautilus. But you can open a new bug report,
and setting it against to "linux". Please read [1] to provide us the correct

2010-02-21 Thread malev
Hi!
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu
better.
One question, do you have compiz activate?
Please, go to System -> Preferences -> appearance -> visual effects
and set it to: None (Provides a simple desktop environment without any effects)
If the title bar appears again the you have a problem with compiz and maybe
drivers.
If no, please write back to continue digging in the problem

Hi danieru,
that could be a bug.
Could you try:
copping some big files (one or two) another directory and wath if nautilus
generate the thumbnails for those files.
If that is the case, the your nautils is ignoring the options set and that
migth be a bug.

I've tried myself the same thing, but I've copied the files from one directory

the bound to the thumbnail seems to work really fine.
Could you try to load the directory from a clean user account.
Maybe there is an obstruct the thumbnail generator set. And in a clean account
