[Bug 622344] Re: evince crashed with signal 5 in g_malloc()

2010-09-01 Thread meisterplanlos
This bug seems to affect me, too. Selected text in evince isn't
highlighted and evince crashes unpredictably after text selection.
Sometimes the text is selected (no highlight, but pasting works).
Sometimes evince crashes (no highlight, text not in paste buffer).

[Bug 614039] Re: gnome-power-manager crashed with signal 5 in _XError()

2010-08-27 Thread meisterplanlos
@Chris: Thought the gnome-power-backlight would be interconnected with
the gnome-power-manager. Thanx for clarifying this.

[Bug 615047] Re: [Maverick Alpha] asks for root permission to do: gnome-power-backlight-helper --get-max-brightness

2010-08-27 Thread meisterplanlos
It's working again without any raise privileges dialogs. At least for
me. Thanks guys :)

[Bug 614039] Re: gnome-power-manager crashed with signal 5 in _XError()

2010-08-25 Thread meisterplanlos
This bug is definitely not solved. The solution using gksudo (or
something similar) is really a pain. Everytime my laptop's backlight
changes an authentication dialog is popping up. That should be solved
in a more elegant way (is it even possible without root privileges?!)

Cheers.
