[Bug 828756] Re: getting "connection is untrusted" warnings
Hi, I think this may be a problem with the gnome-keyring not loading the right components in non-Gnome sessions (I also don't think it's really a bug). The different components can be viewed with: grep Exec= /etc/xdg/autostart/gnome-keyring-*.desktop The specific component that causes a certificate problem with Empathy appears to be pkcs11. In XFCE starting Launch GNome Services on Startup from Advanced in Sessions and Startup might fix it. If you're using a Window Manager like I am that needs you to manually start services then you can launch them with a command like: gnome-keyring-daemon --start --components=gpg,pkcs11,secrets,ssh -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to empathy in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/828756 Title: getting "connection is untrusted" warnings To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/ca-certificates-java/+bug/828756/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 787475] Re: Rhythmbox [0.12.8] & [0.12.5] Not Fetching Album Information From MusicBrainz
The debug output says the same thing on both versions/machines. To reproduce: 1. Insert a well known cd into the tray 2. Run rhythmbox --debug 3. Go to the CD section under the area titled "Devices" 4. Hit the "Reload Album Information" button. 5. Look at debug information. Additionally: I have also disabled the firewall and tried again. That method yielded the same results. ** Changed in: rhythmbox (Ubuntu) Status: New => Confirmed -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to rhythmbox in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/787475 Title: Rhythmbox [0.12.8] & [0.12.5] Not Fetching Album Information From MusicBrainz -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 422012] Re: Protected files hidden by Trash
Hi, I've not been able to reproduce this issue. It may have been a problem at some previous stage or to do with some unusual permissions on the files in question. I will report back if I find it having happened again. -- Protected files hidden by Trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/422012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 422012] [NEW] Protected files hidden by Trash
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: nautilus When moving files to the Trash which are belong to another user and you don't have access to, nautilus moves the files into a folder ~/.local/share/Trash/expunged. The problem is that there is no warning that this is happening and the location of the files is far from obvious. I only discovered the folder by using disk analyser and finding that there was a massive folder in ~/.local/share/Trash/expunged. It transpired after deleting the offending files that there had been some 70Gb worth of files!!! Would it not make far more sense from a function point of view to move the files into the Trash as per normal but just fail to empty them? At least you would be able to see them and know that you needed to do something! ** Affects: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Protected files hidden by Trash https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/422012 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to nautilus in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 386280] Re: Brasero Fails to Save Cue Images
I was making an image of one of my old PSX cds for using on an emulator which seemed to only read CUE/BIN files.
