[Bug 45242] Re: [Bug 45242] Re: Supported features icons in Disks Manager are inaccessible for colour blind users
I'm agreeing that it is much better if we replace the red and green dots with green ticks and red crosses. This way it is much clearer for people who suffer from color-blindness. It is indeed a significant number of people, and I think we should replace it, especially because the distro aims at serving the needs of the general desktop-user, and is very user-friendly. -- Supported features icons in Disks Manager are inaccessible for colour blind users https://launchpad.net/bugs/45242 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 40858] Re: More backgrounds and the possibility of different backgrounds for different Desktops.
I totally agree. We should have more backgrounds installed with a standard installation of Ubuntu. When I've got a first look at Ubuntu when I just installed it I got the same feeling. I think it is a great plus, also in the aspect of user friendlyness, to have more backgrounds to choose from. Especially for new Linux users, who are unfamiliar with the interface. -- More backgrounds and the possibility of different backgrounds for different Desktops. https://launchpad.net/bugs/40858 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
