[Bug 1101156] [NEW] libpango1.0-dev unusable for static builds

2013-01-18 Thread Oleksiy Protas
Public bug reported:

The package has two problems using it with static builds:
1. It doesn't pull the required libthai-dev and libselinux1-dev.
2. The libpangoft2 library is only provided in the non-dev package in shared
form, the static one is missing from the -dev package.

[Bug 1101156] Re: libpango1.0-dev unusable for static builds

2013-01-18 Thread Oleksiy Protas
Thanks for response.
It certainly does not make it unusable
That just breaks the scheme of things for me, most of the packages ship statics
with -dev packages while pango ships only a part of it, making static linking
against it nonfunctional.

in which distribution is it not?
12.04.01 LTS, precise.

What information do you need?

[Bug 409795] [NEW] evolution mail aliases regression

2009-08-06 Thread oleksiy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Problem happens since upgrade to Evolution 2.27.5 (Ubuntu Karmic)

I had had an email, say olek...@.com and an email alias account
supp...@.com, emails for both accounts were going into single imap
account. In Evolution I had set up two email accounts, one, the default
one is olek...@.com, and second is the supp...@.com, which had
the receiving server set as NONE.

Then, when I was hitting the REPLY button on the incoming email which
had TO:olek...@.com Evolution was setting the correct outgoing
account (olek...@.com), and when I was hitting the REPLY on email
which had TO:supp...@.com Evolution was automatically setting the
correct outgoing account to supp...@.com.

Now, that doesn't happen, Evolution always sets the outgoing account to
olek...@.com and I had to switch the outgoing account manually.

2009-08-06 Thread oleksiy
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Evolution 2.27.5 (Ubuntu Karmic)

Evolution doesn't restore settings from backup any more. How to repeat:

1. Backup your settings with Evolution.
2. remove ~/.evolution recursively
3. gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/evolution
4. launch Evolution, see the setup wizard
5. select 'restore from backup' and choose the backup file
6. progressbar dialog appears, evolution restarts with a setup wizard again
7. cycle in 4-5-6

2008-04-22 Thread oleksiy
GDM restarts on first boot if you enter your login details correctly and
it DOESN'T restart if you will make an error in your password for
example - GDM will tell you that username/password is incorrect and
after filling them again you will log in successfully.
