[Bug 1877118] [NEW] Gnome-shell activities overview search doesn't return full results
Public bug reported: When using the search function in Gnome Shell's activity overview, only local results seem to be returned. e.g. matches for appplications, files, contacts, and characters. I would normally expect to see results from at least online repositories/software centre, too. If there are no local matches, the search doesn't seem to time out (I've not waited more than a minute or two) and doesn't return anything - see attached screenshot. [Bug 969359] Re: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock)
And thank you from me, too, Marcel Miguel, comment #170. chgrp and chown of .cache/dconf in each user's home directory worked me as well. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-settings-daemon in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/969359 Title: [keyboard]: gnome-settings-daemon consumes 100% cpu (and blinking numlock) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/969359/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
