[Bug 219130] Re: Tomboy applet is slow to appear on a gnome panel
Ubuntu Hardy 8.04 / Gnome 2.22.1 tomboy 0.10.1-1 gnome-panel 1:2.22.1.2-0ubuntu3 -- Tomboy applet is slow to appear on a gnome panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 219130] [NEW] Tomboy applet is slow to appear on a gnome panel
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-panel It's a minor bug but it makes the panel unfriendly. Steps to reproduce : Right click on the panel -> Add to panel Select Tomboy Notes by clicking on it or by by taping tomboy in the search field Add tomboy on the panel by double clicking on it, or by clicking on Add. Bug : You need to wait a few seconds (probably tomboy is loading) before it appears on the panel. Because you are not sure of the add of tomboy, lots of people will click a second time or third time or more... on Add tomboy. Then there will probably an error like : "The panel encountered a problem while loading "OAFIID:TomboyApplet". Do you want to delete the applet from your configuration?" I think the concerned package is gnome-panel so it needs to "print" the tomboy icon before the end of tomboy loading. ** Affects: gnome-panel (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Tomboy applet is slow to appear on a gnome panel https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/219130 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
