[Bug 39522] Opening Multiple Files from Nautilus Creates (Many) Playlists

2006-04-13 Thread stuhood
Public bug reported:

Affects: rhythmbox (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
While Rhythmbox is closed:
1. Select more than one media file in Nautilus (I used 20 ogg vorbis files)
2. Right click and select "Open with Rhythmbox Music Player"
... Rhythmbox opens, and creates 20 blank playlists on the left bar before
playing the files.
... Additionally, it plays the songs out of order.

[Bug 39512] Evo Crash (with abnormally large trace) on Message Send

2006-04-13 Thread stuhood
Public bug reported:

Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Dapper + Evolution 2.6.1

I haven't been able to reproduce this bug. I had composed a Reply to a
message, and when I hit send, Evo placed the message in the Outbox and
then crashed.

Here is the debug output from Bug Buddy... the specific reason I am submitting
this one is because the trace seems abnormally large (5000+ lines).

[Bug 36515] Re: deskbar popup says bug detected when launching program

2006-04-11 Thread stuhood
I can confirm this with a current Dapper. Trying to launch any program crashes
Deskbar, and doesn't load the program.

Additionally, but probably unrelated, Bug-Buddy crashes before it performs the
trace with GDB.

I tried to attach to the running process and then crash it, but the text input
gets disabled when I connect to it with GDB.

[Bug 38803] Copying in the Contact Preview Pane Copies the Whole vCard

2006-04-08 Thread stuhood
Public bug reported:

Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Minor
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
1. Select a portion of text in the Contact preview pane
- Right clicking it does not bring up a menu to let you copy.
- ctrl+c puts the whole vCard for that entry into your clipboard (see bottom)

This doesn't seem very user friendly at all... the preview is much more
useful when you can quickly copy out a phone number or address.

[Bug 32664] Re: playing .mpc doesn't work in rhythmbox 0.9.3.1-0ubuntu1 and makes rhythmox to stop working for other file types

2006-04-07 Thread stuhood
Yea, I have the same issues. An example file is:

gst-typefind-0.10 01.\ Get\ Your\ Snack\ On.mpc
>01. Get Your Snack On.mpc - application/x-apetag

In Rhythmbox I have the exact same behavior as you all. In Totem, they actually
play, but almost every time it tries to switch to the next song it stops, and I
have to manually skip to the next/double click one in the playlist.

I got a gdb trace of what happens in Rhythmbox [at the end of playing an MP3,
when it tries to switch track to an MPC].

[Bug 14472] Re: Can't cut and paste in Evolution's preview window

2006-04-07 Thread stuhood
After today's Evolution update, the problem I was experiencing with the Mail
pane is gone, but there is a different issue with the Contact preview pane. I
should probably file it as a new bug... let me know.

Contact Preview:
1. Select a portion of text in the preview pane
- Right click it, no menu comes up to let you copy.
- ctrl+c: It puts the whole vCard for that entry into your clipboard. Like so:

[Bug 35916] Re: Changing Event with Attachment after Cut and Paste Crashes Evo

2006-04-01 Thread stuhood
So, looking at it, this seems relevant:

>>>Thread 1 (Thread -1231623968 (LWP 28806)):
>>>#0 0xb7482101 in g_utf8_validate () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
>>>#1 0xb744bf18 in strdup_len () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
>>>#2 0xb744c44e in g_filename_from_utf8 () from /usr/lib/libglib-2.0.so.0
>>>#3 0xb66dd299 in get_attachment_list ()

I can tell you, the filename of the attachment has been different every time,
and has not contained any special characters. For instance, this time I used
'new file' on my desktop, containing only the word "blah".

[Bug 35916] Changing Event with Attachment after Cut and Paste Crashes Evo

2006-03-21 Thread stuhood
Public bug reported:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/35916

Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
   Severity: Normal
   Priority: (none set)
 Status: Unconfirmed

Description:
Distribution: Ubuntu 6.04 (dapper)
Package: Evolution
Version: GNOME2.14.0 2.6.x
Gnome-Distributor: Ubuntu
Synopsis: Changing Event with Attachment after Cut and Paste Crashes Evo
Bugzilla-Product: Evolution
Bugzilla-Component: Calendar

Description of the crash: I cut and pasted an event from Tuesday to
Thursday on my calendar. Then I noticed that it was in the wrong
category, so I opened it and changed the category. When I hit "Save",
Evolution crashed. It does this every time I try to change any detials
of this particular item, even after a restart.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Cut and paste an event (with an ATTACHMENT) from one day to another...
2. Open it up and change something...
3. Try to save it.

Expected Results: It should save the item.

How often does this happen? With every cut and pasted event that has an
attachment.

Debugging Information:

Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/evolution'

My apologies, this bug will probably need to be moved: it still happens,
but now I realize that its only freezing the first mixer applet, and not
the whole panel (I'm pretty sure it was freezing all of the gnome-panel
before, but you guys must have fixed that heh).

Here is the backtrace, but on gnome-volume-manager instead of gnome-panel:
