The reason I went with 8.04 LTS was I wanted to be able to stay with the same version. What happened to the long term support (LTS)? I don't want to have to rebuild my Linux system every 6 months. Just to let you know that I have found a workaround to this problem with gedit. I am using medit and I can get my bash script syntax colored printout. I hope that this problem is fixed soon in Hardy 8.04 LTS so that this workaround is no-longer necessary. [Bug 328071] Re: Gedit Print preview
I have the same problem but no matter what I try to print i gedit, it get the rendering loop and nothing is printed. Print preview is empty. I am running Ubuntu 8.04. Now I have to print out of other applications.
