[Bug 1132063] Re: Mouse settings missing from Mouse & Touchpad dialog
Just a workaround here - I am also affected by this bug, but the terminal command xset allows you to adjust the mouse speed using the command line. I suggest doing a man xset to learn more about the command, but "xset m 1.3 0" is the magic number for me. The format of the command is xset m . More explanation on what threshold means can be found in the manpages. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1132063 Title: Mouse settings missing from Mouse & Touchpad dialog To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/1132063/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 682508] [NEW] SD format operation crashes if volume label is more than 11 characters long
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-disk-utility I did a format on a 2GB SD card by right clicking on the SD card icon and selecting format, under FAT windows/linux compatible file system settings. It then asks you what you'd like the volume label to be - if you type in anything over 11 characters, the process then errors out - but with an error message which does not hint to the user that the real problem is their length volume label. A good fix may be to limit the label max length on the input field, or to give a more helpful error message.
