[Bug 255768] Re: evolution asking for a password, even though it should be remembered
I'm on 11.10 now and the bug is still present and has annoyed me for several Ubuntu versions. The problem seems to occur when the mail server responds with some kind of error because it has a problem. I have 4 Evolution installations that use the same provider. When the mail service of my provider breaks down evolution starts to ask for passwords - maybe because my provider rejects my credentials due to some malfunction. If the service is back up however Evolution should try to use the original password again. The password dialog should never open once a successful authentication has been established for the first time. There should only be a dialog to inform the user that the service can not be logged into right now. Please finally fix this bug - thank you. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255768 Title: evolution asking for a password, even though it should be remembered To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/evolution/+bug/255768/+subscriptions -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 175904] Re: Firefox-3.0 window moves to current workspace
I have the same Problem with Firefox Version 2.0.0.12 in Ubuntu 7.10. It just happend short while ago - can't say exactly when though - maybe since 7.10 because I upgraded only a while ago... I too like my Firefox on desktop 2 and when I click on a link in a mail in evolution on desktop 1 it used to open on desktop 2. -- Firefox-3.0 window moves to current workspace https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
[Bug 175904] Re: Firefox-3.0 window moves to current workspace
I just discovered that the problem does not exist if I doubleclick an *.htm file in nautilus and click view. Those files get opened correctly in the last active Firefox window and that stays on it's current workspace. So it's probably a gnome problem? -- Firefox-3.0 window moves to current workspace https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/175904 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gtk+2.0 in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 70779] volume-slide controls wrong channel
Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-volume-manager hi, my volume-control-slide changes the volume on the wrong channel on my laptop Dell Inspiron 9200. This is my soundcard: Multimedia audio controller: Intel Corporation 82801DB/DBL/DBM (ICH4/ICH4-L/ICH4-M) AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 01) The problem seems to be that the notebook has 4 speakers - 2 for high and 2 for low frequencies. The Master-slide in gnome-valume-control changes the 2 speakers for the high frequencies. The low frequencies are changed by the Master-Mono-slide. So if I want to change the volume I always have to change both slides or use the PCM-slide. Is there a way to define that the slide in the gnome-panel should map to the PCM-channel? Is using the PCM-slide the intended way to use my soundcard or is the real master-slide not detected? thanx. ** Affects: gnome-volume-manager (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: Unconfirmed -- volume-slide controls wrong channel https://launchpad.net/bugs/70779 -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
