I can confirm that. Having read some forums in German, it seems that this also 
occurs when automatic checking of two or more accounts is set to the same 
intervall. It is rather annoying  - I have to press cancel on startup for each 
mail account (5 at the moment), as this is the only way to get rid of the error 
messages.

[Bug 164804] Re: Gnome Login Error

I can cofirm that error and at a first glance it appears as if only applets 
from the gnome-applets package (in my case 2.20.0-0ubumtu1) are affected.
I'm running Gutsy.
