I installed IceWM and found that the mystical artifact is not only present, but
also available for movement.
A study using xwininfo showed that this is a 6 by 1 window with id
"ibus-ui-gtk3".

[Bug 363293] [NEW] "Overscaled" desktop icons behave strange

2009-04-18 Thread vasdi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: nautilus

Ubuntu 9.04 [AMD64]
Gnome 2.26.1
Nautilus 2.26.2

When I resizing an icon on the Gnome desktop (Nautilus?) there is a
limit of how big it can become. When I trying to resize an icon over the
limit and then scale it down it starting to resize only after a delay.
And when "overscaled" some more the icon starts to move nonlinearly
instead of resizing.

[Bug 322936] [NEW] File-roller can't just archive symlinks to folders

2009-01-29 Thread vasdi
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: file-roller

When I tring to add symlinks to folders to my archive File-roller
includes that folders to the archive and as far as I can see there is no
way to just archive symlinks. And if symlinks are recursive Fileroller
makes archives with recursive folders and then complains while unpacking
("Not a folder" many times).
