[Bug 111164] Evolution Calendar Date Display wrong

2007-04-29 Thread vsridhars
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

Hi,

For the past few releases, have noticed that if I setup a meeting request on
Evolution Calendar, the date dropdown : always shows the date right, but
associates
Sunday as the description for all days.

Attached screenshot.

Re: [Bug 77766] Re: Mail auto-complete causes Evolution to lose connection

2007-04-16 Thread vsridhars
This had been quite frequent even till last week.
However, after doing a dist-upgrade to the 7.04 Fiesty Beta, this has stopped.

Now I am getting a couple of similar issues :
a) email address auto-complete from ldap : sometimes hangs and freezes the
whole evolution window

b) search across folders often does a silent disconnect with Evolution backend.
Then, inbox etc. shows 2 new messages in the task pane but the 2 messages never
get displayed.
Restarting evolution sorts it out.

Earlier, search used to hang and also give a message about lost
connection to evolution backend.

Anyways, this is a separate thread.
Based on Fiesty updates - this can get closed.

[Bug 77763] alacarte dies while editing existing shortcuts

2007-01-03 Thread vsridhars
Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: alacarte

1. A given Menu Tree had 4 entries. (Geany,Notecase,Kompare,Textpad).
2. Edited notecase -- display-name and executablename : to knowit (since I had
removed notecase and installed knowit)
3. The OK button was not available. On clicking the Close button, changes did
not register
4. Went to Kompare shortcut - edited display name to compare and pressed ok.
That change got saved.
5. Came back to Notecase - again tried to rename the shortcut as well as the
executable.
This time bug buddy came up.

Thanks. I get this issue a couple of times a day - so should be easy to
recreate.

I am with 6.10

Could not find libldap2-dbgsym within my repositories
For all my normal dbgsym packages, I use

http://people.ubuntu.com/~pitti/ddebs edgy main universe
