[Bug 684538] Re: Opening calendar applet on gnome-panel in Ubuntu 10.10 is slow
I have the same issue, Ubuntu 10.10, latest updates, fast quad core machine with SSD. By setting File--Work Offline in Evolution, the problem went away. I wasted half an hour researching and figuing out what to do. I didn't have offline selected because I didn't want it selected, but that time delay is too annoying. I am using a Google Calendar from my Evolution. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-panel in ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/684538 Title: Opening calendar applet on gnome-panel in Ubuntu 10.10 is slow -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs

[Bug 255582] Re: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5 in xkl_process_error()
Running today's latest update as of an hour ago. Same crash when re-starting X. I have seen the same problem with defaulting to another window manager than Gnome, but rebooting the computer seems to get around that. I am using a MacBook Pro, V2 with the ATI graphics. One other problem is that objects can only be dragged part way across the second screen connected to the DVI port. -- gnome-settings-daemon crashed with signal 5 in xkl_process_error() https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/255582 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug assignee. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
Re: [Bug 199496] Re: Tomboy.exe crashed with SIGSEGV in exit()
Yes, as soon as you start it from a command prompt, without ever bringing up a window. [Bug 80856] Re: F-Spot as default for importing photos
I would like the option of using GThumb. I simply want to import the photos from my Canon Powershot G9 into a directory, not part of a photo viewing system. I cannot find a way to do this with F-Spot. Now when I try to use GThumb it hangs. -- F-Spot as default for importing photos https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/80856 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is a bug contact for gnome-volume-manager in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
