If Korean - Korean is the only (or the topmost) input method in IBus Preferences, I can switch between them by typing Ctrl + Space. The problem seems to be caused by the chronic impossibility to remap anything in Ubuntu + Unity. There is an interface in IBus Preferences for setting keyboard shortcuts. Maybe from scratch, it isn't possible to type korean characters. But checking askubuntu does reveal some answers.
