I gave this up. Compared the source code of 3.4 and 3.5 and realized they have removed the options from source. I thought earlier they might have just disabled them. It is sad the way empathy is moving just like gnome... Any update on this? There is also no sort order on contact list. This is making using empathy virtually impossible.
