I am running Intrepid rc i386 and the bug is still present when
selecting the Molecule Screensaver.

lspci output:

Can somebody please check whether the bug is still present in Intrepid (release 
candidate will be out in a few days)? I also asked people for lspci 
information, and there was only one response. Open Accessories -> Terminal and 
type in the command:
 lspci -nn | grep VGA
then copy and paste the output (ctrl-shift-C in Terminal) here.

Please don't add comments to this bug report unless you have provided
the lspci output.

this has happen to me and is still present in my system upgraded to 8.04
still there...ATI Rage  128 AGP card also clean install
