This started last night when rebooting from updates. Updates done this morning and this still appears. A dpkg -l | grep evolution reveals a mixed set of packages from 3.8.4-0ubuntu1 and 3.8.5-1ubuntu1, will all showing uptodate from sources (including proposed).
