Yes, I now see those buttons, which I had overlooked probably thinking they were just column headings. I did not realise things had changed so much in 3.0. Many thanks for your assistance! Cheers. Actually this is not a bug: Click on the autoplaylist. Look at the playlist toolbar - Edit Browser Viewall Playlist buttons. Click the Playlist button and click the Edit submenu. this should be a bug upstream since it is reproducible in 14.04 Trusty version of Rhythmbox as well.
