*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1793152 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1793152 4 years later and 2 lts versions later, we still do not have a simple progress to format a disk, I have been formatting a 1tb disk for 5 hours and I must guess when it will be ready.
