[Bug 17158] do not automount partitions flagged as "no auto" in fstab

2006-03-30 Thread Martin Pitt
Public bug report changed:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/17158

Task: ubuntu gnome-volume-manager
 Status: Confirmed => Fix Released

Comment:
This has already been fixed as a side effect of the new hal volume
policy to ignore (i. e. not show in nautilus et al) unmounted hard disk
partitions.

[Bug 17158] do not automount partitions flagged as "no auto" in fstab

2006-03-20 Thread Martin Pitt
Public bug report changed:
https://launchpad.net/malone/bugs/17158

Task: ubuntu hal
Sourcepackagename: hal => gnome-volume-manager
Binarypackagename: hal => None

Comment:
Neither hal nor g-v-m evaluate /etc/fstab; putting this hack into g-v-m is the
smaller evil.

Anyway, most of the use cases of this bug were already fixed by the recent hal
policy changes to ignore volumes which are not in /media.
