Checked the reported bug in Hardy RC. The bug seems to have been fixed in the latest release of gnome-control-center, as the details entered in the About Me window seems to be intact after a reboot. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducible with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Hardy Heron. Ah, I'm sorry for not being specific enough. 1. Specific Steps: (1) I open the gnome-about-me application. (2) I fill in the better majority of the fields (excluding: Contacts - Instant Messaging - Jabber, MSN, ICQ, Yahoo, Groupwise (I filled in AIM)). (3) I click the Close button. (4) I close all open applications and restart the computer. (5) I open the gnome-about-me application. 2. Behavior Expected: After restarting, I would expect the information that I have entered into the gnome-about-me application to still be there. 3. Behavior Encountered: After restarting, the gnome-about-me application does not contain the information that I have entered into it. The fields are blank and not filled-in.
