Looks like that was it. I removed all my extensions and I don't get that app display error anymore. Please try uninstalling (or just renaming the directory of) the extensions mentioned in comment #6. I have noticed that the app pages disappear sometimes and when they do, the three dots on the right side are redrawn together once.
