Using GNOME in the guest isn't removing it from the equation, it's only changing the equation. Actually this could equally be a problem with virt-manager. I'm only trying to determine if this is a gnome-shell bug right now or a bug belonging to some other component. Hi Daniel, Thank you for coming back to me so fast. I don't think it's related to either of those bugs you mentioned. This is happening only when I'm running virtual machines and have "virt- manager" opened. Is it a bug in gnome-shell? It's difficult to say.
