The first thing we need to check is what extensions might be installed
system-wide that could interfere with the login screen. Please run
'gnome-shell-extension-prefs' and disable/remove all but the three
Ubuntu-default extensions. Then reboot.
Since this test may take some days or weeks to complete I will also mark
this bug as private, to avoid noise from unwanted "me too" comments. At
least until the cause of the leak is known.
