This has been fixed in Pop OS about a month ago so It should be just a matter of time an official fix makes its way to us on Ubuntu. Thankyou Konrad, your comment #17, has solved this issue for me. I did not hold the package at 6-0, though. I should add, I don't have an NVIDIA card - intel integrated HD graphics.
